Grindal Salmon Lodge
Week 28 – PRIME TIME OF PRIME TIME
July 8–12, 2026
Fiskebloggen and fiskeresor.nu are once again hosting an exclusive salmon trip to the fantastic big-salmon river Orkla and the beautiful lodge Grindal Salmon Lodge.
We have secured 8 rods, divided into two groups of four anglers.
Each day we rotate between the Upper, Middle, and Lower beats to ensure balanced access to all stretches.
The pools offer superb variety—easy to fish, beautifully structured, and suited to different water levels. Because the fishing stretch is long, having your own car is highly recommended.
Each guest enjoys a private room, and all meals are served in the lodge’s classic dining room.
The stay is all-inclusive, with excellent food throughout the trip.
1–2 dedicated guides from the lodge will accompany us on the beats, showing the productive lies, holding spots, and key areas.
On the same July dates a few years ago, our group landed 29 salmon with an average weight of 6.76 kg.
The five largest weighed 12.5, 12.0, 11.5, 10.1, and 9.75 kg.
We’ve fished here previously as well and wrote a detailed report—see the blog post: Days at Grindal Salmon Lodge.
We warmly welcome you to join us on this unforgettable adventure on the majestic Orkla!
