Christer nailed it yesterday on the River Tweed — a fresh springer in perfect condition, complete with sea lice and visible egg strings. The river had settled nicely and conditions felt right… and suddenly it happened. These are the moments that keep you coming back. Now these 3 days are over and we’re on our way home. We’re back in Feb-27

The water had come up this morning and not so much color – perfect conditions. We saw a few fish moving through, and then suddenly… a pull on the fly.
Christer was right there with the net and made it happen – always a team effort.
Moments like this are why we keep coming back.

Yesterday the river was coloured and rising, tough conditions and not much happening. Today it had dropped and cleared just enough — and in the afternoon it finally happened. That unmistakable pull from a fresh fish.
Nothing beats a Tweed springer.
Last day tomorrow… let’s see what it brings.
